Join yourselves, therefore, to the churches which are under their care, make the Bible your study, fix your faith on the Lord

Jesus Christ, the true Teacher and the remover of sin, imitate the example of his righteousness and virtue, and thus
vou will obtain bliss.
SECOND WAY-MARK.
CHE TRUE WAY THE WAY OF PROSPERITY EVEN IN THIS LIFE.
Secing that men have bodies as well as souls, and that both alike have been created by God, if there is a divine religion which it is the duty of all men to embrace, that religion will not only confer those spiritual benefits which men require, but it will also tend to promote many temporal benefits. May we not be certain by this mark whether the various religions which are professed in this country are true and divine, or whether they are superstitions invented by men? If a religion is of no advantage in the affairs of the world which men see, can it be expected that it should confer eternal heavenly bliss in the world which men have not seen? Examined by this test, Christianity is the ouly religion known in this country which will be found to be
true.
The Bible says that« Godliness is profitable unto all things,
having the promise of the life that now is, and also of that which is to come;” and accordingly the Christian religion
